The other themes explain a rule, a mark, a claim or a body of evidence at length. This section answers questions that come up again and again: when a duty applies, what a market requires, whether a mark is mandatory, what a case has done, and what evidence a claim needs. The pages are built to be consulted more than once.

Reference formats can mislead if they are over-read. A calendar can turn a formula into a false deadline. A matrix can treat an injunction as repeal. A lookup can imply that an unassessed country has no law. Each page therefore keeps the source, status, unit of analysis and verification date, so the underlying proposition can be checked.

The section describes. It does not determine compliance for a product. Every page links back to the detailed Atlas article or primary source that carries the full qualification.
